I'd still be very happy with that, the condition is not too bad. Importantly, the blade still looks nice and bright without too many issues.

Hi SDP most of the residue on the blade will clean off, I just dont like cleaning anything, The quality on this one is outstanding,

Everyone has their own ideas but if there's residue on the blade, I would tend to remove it. I believe it attracts dust and other particles which will eventually deteriorate the blade. Remove it with Simichrome or the equivalent and then apply a protective coating with Ren-wax or equivalent. Leave the rest of the dagger untouched.

Nice dagger.Add a black hanger and the missing left screw on the lower fitting to them and it is a good dagger.
