SA dagger question

I am a FNG to the collecting of daggers. I made my first purchase just the other day, it is a early production J.P. Sauer & Sohn - GNR "FR", with hanger. I was just wanting to know what the average price for a dagger from this maker. I will post pics later

It's a fairly common maker to find,but as is already said condition is all important to value.

I have one of these as well in fair condition with about 45% anodizing, the button and grip are in mint. The all nickel fittings have great patina and are SO well fit. However the blade has been polished in some areas to remove oxidation in my assesment. Oh well, only paid $300

A cool thing is that JP Saur was the first to make these SAs.
