Early nickle fittings from what I can see, early dome head screws, The scabbard looks like a re-paint. I would have to look up that RZM number, but I think given the configuration of the blade markings the dagger fittings should be nickel/silver plated. These look like earlier solid nickel fittings in the photos. The scabbard but it sooo well fit to the crossguard.

    Nice dagger!

An original very much indeed! My only concern is if these early fittings match this later type blade.

Just checked, your fittings configuration is ok . Still dont know who makes it though.

The listed maker of 1211 is E. Pack & Sohn. A caution however; This mark comes up on repo blades frequentely. Disassemble the dagger and examine the tang for billet clamp marks. An absence of clamp marks is a bad sign and so is a small hole thru the lower part of the tang.

Great idea by James. Be careful upon re-assembly and do not overtighten the nut. Leave it finger tight, or you could possibly crack that nice ebony grip of yours.

IMO Repo blade. This what I was referring to in my above post about the hole through the tang.
