    Knot Identification Please

Would like to find out what kind of knot this is.

It was attached to a SA dagger returned by a US Veteran.

Going solely by the pictures it's a post war knot.

The strap is too 'glittery' of a silver with no age to it and the ball shows evidence of glue where tha cap meets the ball body.

These knots were offered with out any conclusive proof of originality by some of the big name dealers of daggers for a very reasonable price. Purportedly an variant SS EM/NCO knot but for less than $100. All in as new condition.

        Do the math.

Ditto to everything Tony said. These knots can be found on many dealer sites, cheaply I might add. They're also on Eban frequently enough, I don't like these knots one bit. Just my .02

            Tony and Billy,

            Thanks for the quick replies.

            Glad to know this.

He must have wanted to decorate his dagger.

            Best regards,
            RonR
