Opinions of 3 HJ Knive and DJ on the Estand

There are four HJ/DJ knives on the estand. Some things bother me about them, I will start with:

1. My understanding is the M7/38 RZM mark on the obverse is supposedly an old fake Seilheimer. RZM should be on reverse.

2. The M7/66 is similar to the markings I identified as a fake a week or so ago and others agreed. Tough to tell from current photos. Here is the link:

3. The other M7/1/40 maker I am unfamiliar with, would like to see more.

Interesting Jeff. It was the HJ that i bought from German Daggers e-stand that is similar to the M7/66. Got a full refund from the seller, i agree it looks similar with less sharpening but would need to see better pictures, the ricasso is a bit different, on mine the 8 of 38 had been worked off.
The seller still claims the one i bought is 100% real, states that Lakeside trader would pass it as 100% authentic, i know he wouldn't, here's a picture of the seam under the finger guard that the seller said was OK on an Eickhorn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The concerns of the DJ emblem on the scabbard are well founded. It seems the addition of the emblem has been dicussed numerous times. After a purchase of one, I noticed that the rivet on the scabbard was replaced and there were grind marks on the scabbard and the paint was touched up. Theories abound that these emblems were added later, either by the manufacturer or by others. It seems that the consensus is divided over the validity of the emblem. After viewing the one I purchased, this caused doubt in my opinion of the validity of the emblem addition.

I was able to return mine for a full refund .

So abouth the Eickhorn dagger, antwhiplash posted a pictures off one he had.
I will also post a picture off my so u can compare.
As u can see there are no seem like antwhiplash******180;s dagger have.

I dont know much about DJ examples, but ive heard that scabbards with diamonds on them are nothing to worry about.
Regarding the HJ knifes, i dont like them, none of the 3.

Some things to look at:

On the first knife with motto:
Like you mention Jeff, the RZM code should be on the reverse. I dont know if in this case it is a particular thing of this marker, but i dont know
The motto doesnt look good to me, especially the word "und"
The swastika on the diamond is too thick IMO, and i also dont like the grip

Second knife:
Would like to see some close ups too on the diamond, but there is something i dont like about it.
I think this one is the only one of the HJ knifes that has some chance, so i would like to see more pictures, especially one of the diamond.


Third knife:

Motto doesnt look good either, especially the "d" of the "und" word, and the last word "ehre".
I would like to see a close up on the diamond of that knife.


I hope more people submit their opinions, cause this is an interesting discussion.
