Single etched bayonet by Robert Klass

    Hi everyone,

I recently acquired this single etched bayonet by Robert Klass. Ive read Wayne H.Techet excellent book and its shown in page 232 with a value rating as - Scarce. However mine doesnt have the Klass logo.

Really appreciate for any opinions given. Thank You.

    Cheers,
    Ibrahim,
    Singapore.

                      Ibrahim,

Very nice looking original Klaas bayonet. As you mention, similar pieces are in Techet's book and I would not be concerned that your bayonet doesn't have the Klaas logo. Klaas was a large producer of etched bayonets both for their own customers and other companies that they sold to so some pieces which are clearly of Klaas manufacture will not necessarily show their logo. Great eagle and something you won't have trouble selling if you're ever interested.

Very nice. I have begun to appreciate these blades in the last couple of years. Finding a blade in good condition on these bayonets without paying high dollar is a challange. Definately a keeper. The ones I have acquired have lacked their scabbards however.

                            I concur

The detail in the etching and overall condition/quality suggest that this one is AOK.

                            Enjoy!
