    First Dress Bayonet

I've just got this in the mail. It is my first German dress bayonet, but as you can see, is a little on the rough side. Well, for $46.00 shipped, I'm pleased with it. The blade has been sharpened, but the Robert Klaas "Kissing Cranes" logo is very clear.

Hopefully my next dress bayonet purchase will be a Carl Eichorn piece. I've always liked that squirrel logo!

      Heya

That's a nice dress bayonet. I also want an Eickhorn piece to add to my small collection pictured below:

Dress bayonets are not the most expensive things to get, so I am sure that you will find many on sale for very good prices. Sharpened pieces have a lower value but I am not personally so touchy about that.

          Yes, Indeed it is.

The center of the stamping is not quite visible from the picture but it can
be seen in real life. This is my finest piece that I own. It's almost in mint
condition with VERY minor plating spotting in some parts.
