    HJ knife, real or not?!

    Hi!

I bought this knife not so long ago from the e-stand. The knive looks and feels really ok but what about the RZM mark, it should be M7/36, that is Hörster number?! I wonder why is i marked M7/37, that is number for the Robert Klaas.

    Thanks
    Hacht

You're right about the RZM marking being 1 digit off. That is for Klaas as far as I am aware. The grip diamond looks really "sunken" as well. Better photos (close-ups) of the grip and diamond would help. The blade shape I'm not sure about either.

I am NOT an HJ expert, so hopefully a moderator or senior HJ collector can chime in.

The diamond "wiggles" as it should, looks really fine, is it possible that the RZM marking was somehow applied later, by another maker?! Just guessing

The RZM / maker mark combination is odd but I, too, like the knife

Looks like someone had a bad day in the Horster factory, or did they have too many beers.
