    Gravity knife values??

    Hi,
I recently discovered that my sisters husband has a little stash of TR stuff he brought with him from the UK in the late 60's.
In there was a lovely FJ gravity knife, i know nothing about these and wondered what sort of value would one have? I suspect he wants to part with it, and hopefully i could take it off his hands as he also has a couple of EK2's and a lovely E-boat flag.
All items were his late fathers so came from a genuine source.

    All help greatly appreciated

Tony, the answer is...it depends! Is it a take down version or not? There is a big difference in value between the 2. Also, condition in general and of the blade in particular makes a huge difference. A mint, unsharpened blade brings a premium. I would say the range is a few hundred $ for a non take down beater to around $1K at the high end for a take down in superb condition. There are also more scarce makers that command more (Helbig for example). Also, if the spring mechanism is broken (very common on these) its basically a paperweight...
