    Luft Officer Daggers????

I have two questions. Are these real? Does the crack in the bakelite grip kill the value of this dagger? Thanks.

Hello HBT, they look ok to me based on these pics. A crack in the grip hurts it a little but IMO does not kill it...Cheers...Jeff

Hi Chris, both daggers look OK, but as Jeff says the crack will hurt the value of what is a common dagger to start with. The hangers are not correct for this dagger, they are for the Heer dagger.

              Cheers, Ade.

The missing wire on the grip will hurt the value worse than the crack.

You don't see many Seilheimer First Lufts. Pretty rare makers mark. Can't really tell much else from the pics.

                      Thank you for your comments!

Do you have an idea as to what would be fair market value on these daggers based on their present condition? Thanks.
