    Does my bayonet "match"?

The blade is marked "7129 f" and "S/127".
The scabbard is marked "7129 a" and "Carl Eickhorn".

Is this considered a matching set?

Hello, unfortunally is not matched, but probably some missreading by sending of the piece marking, it could be S/172, unknown date - should be on spine of blade near crossguard, the it is the same producer, other possibility is S/177. The scabbard was made in period 1939-40, should be stamped under name. Could You send corrections? best regards,Andy

Hi Andy, not sure what you mean.
The bayonet is dated 36 on the spine, and the scabbard is dated 1939.

S/172 ,36 and Carl Eickhorn 1939 was made in same work, by Carl Eickhorn, only the bayonet in 1936 and scabbard in 1939. best regards,Andy
PS please could You send a picture of the serial number and letter of the bayonet, we have in dbase only pieces to range b, or confirm certainly a letter f under 7129?? Thanks
