German Dagger real or fake ?

I bought a german dagger at a yard sale a few years ago. It has alcoso stamped at the top the underneath it has a weight stamped on it with A C at the top of the weight the at the bottom has S. Then underneath it has solingen. I have looked at some of the dagger and it looks like a model 2 luffwaffe dagger. I know knothing about this stuff, just want some of your opinions on it.

Pictures would help...but from what you describe...hallmark..it sounds ok..but...PIX would help.
