Vertical F. Dick on an SA Dagger Opinions Please

I just picked up this SA dagger and not being a dagger person knew virtually nothing about this other than its a SA dagger. Mr. Ron Weinand was nice enough to share his knowledge and give me some info on why the F. Dick motto runs verticle instead of horizontal with the crossguard. Now that I have pictures up I`d like to get some opinions on this dagger and possible value. Thanks,

Perhaps it is the odd angle of the photo, but the motto looks way far back in pic #4

That looks okay. Spec is about one inch from the crossguard.
