Why do people on eBay pay WAY too much for bad daggers?

Why is it that buyers on eBay will pay WAY too much for a bad dagger? Don't they know that there are websites with far better examples for the same price?

Yeah, it's hard to find nowadays even "low budget" SA daggers under $400, so for someone with restoring skills and not much money in the pocket, that one might be an option.

Thats only about ******163;200 I dont think you could get one from a dealer for that sort of cash ,though I did notice an English bloke who posts here who has a site selling daggers and his prices are way to cheap he needs to add 20% to his prices .Rob.
