      Hi Guys,

Here are some more pics of the SA, the scabbard is a very dark reddish brown, hard to see with the camera, you can see the crossgraining quite clearly.

The maker is " Carl Heidleburg " not seen to often.

      regards,

      Anthony

The swaz in the Eagle is polished, I should have wiped the dust of it before I took the pic.

Must have been left in a warehouse after Hitler purged the SA

You have some magnificent pieces, a real pleasure to behold Most envious... I've always preferred carried daggers, but I could go for these pristine examples without much persuasion

                Hi Guys,

                Thanks for your kind comments.

GaryMJ, here is one for you that has been carried.

This is a CUSTOM made dagger by Josef Wolf Munchen-AU it came from Munchen to me a long time ago.

Very Early NSKK with solid Nickel Silver fittings and Eagle, these exhibit a nice golden hue, the grip has a SHELLACK or lacquer on it, and the blade is plated. the group mark is HO where ever that is, it would be nice if it is around Munchen, can someone tell me where it is please? I have forgotten. the scabbard is painted and you can see that it has always been an NSKK Scabbard, not a repainted SA

Here are some pics of it, please excuse the camera showing up in one of the shots, the blade is mirror bright with the plating, the three piece hanger was with it upon arrival.

                Regards,

                Anthony
