    Dagger Knot Help Please

    Hi Guys

    Could someone please tell me more about this and if you think it is period TR.
    Also value for selling.

    These knots are often touted as SS knots, but there is no regulation that supports this identification. I think original ones may well be railway and I don't believe they have anything to do with the SS. They are widely faked and your knot appears to be one of the postwar ones. Pull apart the cords on the ball (Quaste) and look at the thread beneath. If it is stark white or glows under black light it is a postwar knot. You may also be able to see spots of glue where the crown (Kranz) was glued on, which is also a sign of postwar construction, as well as being brand new with no age or dirt.
