Real, Junk, Fantasy piece????

A friend of mine in CA mailed me this, said he bought it from a guy in Washington state about 30 years ago for $30. I collect mostly US militaria and don't know anything about knifes. Could you guys tell me about this one? Please....be gentle.LOL

I am not an expert by any means, but I have viewed many threads about similar pieces. Some of my fellow members may have to correct me on this.

This much I can tell you. I have never seen a positive review of a TR folding pocket knife. They are generally considered to be fantasy pieces.
