For some time now I have been looking to obtain an SA dagger. I'm thinking this may be it. It appears to me to be an authentic early dagger from one of the less common makers. Discoloration on the blade is grime, it hasn't been cleaned and the dagger does not even appear to have ever been apart. No marks on pommel etc. Scabbard is dent free as well. Cross guards are solid not plated and there are no gaps between fittings and wood. Eagle is set in flush with handle. Seems like a quality early job. What do you think?
