I would like to see a straight on picture of the grip. From that angle it looks to much like one of those cheap plastic handled reproductions. The eagle looks all wrong and seems placed too high on the grip.

I might be wrong. It could just be the angle of the picture. But from what I can see I don't like it.

It also looks like it has a leather washer where the blade meets the crossguard. Not a good sign. Seems as if care was taken to photograph it at odd angles to give a distorted view of key areas.

You're right. I missed the washer.

        Another red flag.

          Well..

Actually it doesn't look too bad to me. Typical RZM dagger and although the leather washer can be a bad sign, I have seen several authentic daggers with period leather washers.

The Eagle looks too high on the grip also. I vote that it's a fake.

Your right Erich on the alder placement,,
That grip does not look like wood either. Looks like that same material I have seen on a few B+A SA daggers.

I dont like the leather washer and I don't like the eagle. In my opinion it's a fake!

You can see more with the pics cleaned up a bit. The eagle looks like a turkey buzzard and is set too high. The cross graining is not right or its been reground. Look at how the edge of the handle near the upper fitting was carved. IMHO maybe the fittings are real but everything else a fake.

maybe some real parts, but the handle with the highplaced eagle is not found on original pieces. There seems to be a sharp ridge on the blade, could be the photos, but thats what some copies look like.

The grip insignias are for sure fakes - may be the whoole grip.I have big concerns with the rest , too .
