Carl Eickhorn Army Dagger!!

Bought this from Johnson at the MAX. Typical 2nd model Eickhorn crossguard with matching fittings and scabbard. Notice most cross-graining still present on blade. The first pic is just a tease!!!! I hope you like the pics, they were taken in a hurry.

New information which has been "blessed" by Wittmann, writer of the Wittmann ARMY Book, shows this to be the 4th style crossguard Eickhorn used during the period. This info will be included in a rewrite of Wittmann's book (time frame is anybody's guess on the rewrite).
