    Hello!

I just wonder if any of you guys could know who is the maker of this sword, the blade is unmarked and according to the eagle I would say Alcoso, what do you think??

I would say Spanish sometime in the 1980's.

Can you show the backstrap and the knuckle guard details?

That was also my first thought.

It appears to be a reproduction to me as well but I have no idea if it is a Spanish repop or not. Good guess though.

I am not a sword collector, have only a few daggers, but the workmanship on this piece seems me to poor for a German sword. I think the few original swords that I had in my hands where much more detailed on the eagles and oakleaves.

I am a novice on swords, but isnt the eagle looking the wrong direction? They few I have seen are looking left.
                        Cheers,
                        Johnnie
