How to attach Police sword portapee?

Hello, new to the forum...

Have a Pol NCO sword and trying to attach the portapee. Anyone know a reference book with the info? Or willing to post a photo of theirs? I don't want to jack up a nice portapee without knowing what I'm doing first.

Also any idea of where to find a replacement buffer pad?

If I'm not mistake, the knot should be tied in the same fashion that would be used on an Army saber. If you search GDC and WAF, you'll be able to find photos.

Try Johnsons website for a buffer pad. He may have them.
