I would know this dagger for 1800. - Euro to buy, he originates directly from family deduction, is he value, sees condition...........

While I realize prices are escallating, 1800 Euro seems like the top of the scale for a dagger in this condition. There appears to be some marks (not runner marks) the length of the blade which makes it look like it's been cleaned at some point. Maybe some other collectors will just tell me I'm still living in the past.

I tend to agree. The condition is such that (at $2300.00 USD) the price seems high. If you want a comparison, Tom Johnson's new list has an early, maker marked '33 SS dagger with the owner's Ausweis in EXC/EXC+ condition for $2750.00.

I have to agree with the comments above. Spend your €1800.00 on an EM33, not an RZM... you'll be happier in the long run.

Would it be possible to post a straight on photo of the entire grip?

Overall condition aside,, That grip has had some major restoration work done. That poor work will detract for the value.

I'm with Tobau on this one, or it may be a parts dagger. The grip is way off, and while this is the correct motto style for a late E-Pack, it is positioned too far down the blade, also the blade has a wavey spine whicjh is always a strong red flag. Beside the price being too high, I would like to see the tang before going any further.
