CVL 44 98K Bayonet with riveted wooden grips

    Hi everyone,

I bought this bayonet for 150€. Are riveted wooden grips rare ? More than bakelite ?
What You think of this model ? Your knowledge about it ?
CVL riveted Bayo are rarer than CUL/ASW Bayo ?
The manufacturer is the same but not the serial number, Strange...
Special script alphabet " sutterlin font " was used. The WaA is the same on bayonet and scabbard : WaA 510
    Thanks for Your information !
    Kind Regards
    Edouard

Very nice bayonet ofcourse, its a not so obvious, scarce version with riveted wood grips, were examined on late 44cvl production, i assume that the bayonet is 7600 probably in o range and scabbard 9778 in m range. the mouth was probably ficed witha screw or a small rivet? correct proofed with WaA519 .best regards,Andy
PS you made good, the cul riveted bayonets are not known
