The Z without slash is correct for Tiegel. The motto appears in the correct way even if from the pic I don't see the distances from the tip/end of blade.
May we see a pic of the tang and the rest of the dagger (if you haven't only the blade)?

Very nice dag from an unusual maker. Correct plated fittings (eagle is alu?), wonderful scabbard.
The only problem is that..... it is really a very amazing dag...maybe too much.
When dismounted the crossguards have you seen any mark on the blade tang?

Totally original SA, but my main concern is that the blade has been lightly buffed. The crossgraining appears to be enhanced as if by a wheel from the pictures and the motto appears to not have any of the darkening.
The grip eagle is the early nickel silver type consistant with the date of 1938 on the blade-a kind of transitional piece with a mixture of early and later parts by the manufacturer to use up existing stock.

My only concern was the same as Ron stated.

The crossgrain looks like it was restored, its pretty deep and random in patern.

The dagger looks good to me .My only concern : late blade (polished) and early grip , grip inlets and heavy crossguards .
At last , can you show the fit blade shoulder to lower crossguard ?
                        Greetings
