Need Help - Army Dagger B&A marked Solingen

Can you help me determine rarity and value? It has been offered to me. I concerned it may be overpriced. I have searched the archives but have not yet turned up another example. Thanks

It is my understanding that these blades are post war. Maybe made for trophy hungry G.I.s to send home? I can't say for sure about the other parts, but I don't like the blade at all.

Really? Yeah I had not recognized the markings either. Curious if others have opinions?

          Thanks!

The B&A pieces were made up in the early stages of the Occupation to sell to souvenir hungry Allied troops. They also made up 1933 SA daggers.

Interesting, but not of wartime production

                B & A Daggers

B & A SAs and Army Daggers without scabbards were sold in Popular Mechanics and Argosy Magazines in the early to mid 1950s for roughly $5.00 each. It was a small picture ad and, as I remember, came out of VA. The grip on the SA B & A Dagger was usually a nice dark maroon plastic, not wood. These have become collectible today and bring from $95 to $150 each.
The scabbard on this Army was probably added to one of these Army Daggers over the years.
