In some ways i can see why they do it, all those tacky samurai "type" swords on a stand for sale in shopping centres does seem a bit silly really (who the hell wants to buy them they are so s**** looking). Any chav could go buy one and attack another member of the community, it comes down to the replica weapons debate again...... A kitchen knife can do way more damage than those swords if they arent sharpened.

It really hacks me off, so long as they dont touch genuine wartime weapons!

Should stop the sale of fakes though if you can grass any dealer up for selling fakes as originals they will have too stop selling them

Y'know, when the UK passed its gun ban several years ago, we American "lunatic gun nuts" joked that the Brits would ban knives next. Of course we we joking, because such a proposal would be ridiculous...

I'd joke that the UK might ban teeth next (insert lame British teeth joke here) to stop the coming rampant wave of criminal bitings, but I'm afraid it might prove prophetic.
