Help to purchase a Full Rohm SA

I have only a few daggers as most of my collecting and familiarity is with awards. I come to the dagger forum because I know everyones help is genuine. I am thinking og purchasing a full inscription Rohm SA in Mint condition by Gebruder Heller, Schmalkalden for $6,250 I was wondering if that is to much for such a piece in that cond.

    Regards,

    Steve

Very nice original dagger, about price, a bit too high but premium to pay for quality

This Rohm etch doesn't look at all right to me. It does not have the correct letter characteristics and does not appear to match other examples by this maker. The dagger may be right, but I seriously doubt the inscription. I have looked on Craig's site, don't see it there...

I would be very carefull with this dagger, I would dig a lot deeper before parting with that kind of $$$ on this minty piece. Just my opinion...

Dagger is 100% in my opinion. The only issue with the piece, as stated in the description, is the obverse motto, which is about 1mm too high. I have seen this on both Rohm and non-Rohm daggers. This maker commonly placed a black pigment in the motto, which this piece has on both inscriptions. The reason it's not on the site is because it has been sold, and the buyer requested that I remove the piece.
