Please bear with me as this is my first post as a new member. I have what I believe to be a DLV chained dagger manufactured by Paul Weyersburg. The overall length is 21 1/2 inches in the scabbard and exhibits the correct number of rings in the chain. What I'm trying to establish is if anyone knows approximately how many of these would have been produced. I'll try to post some photos this weekend.

Thanks Paul for your reply. I'll try to follow through asap with photos. I had previously contacted Johnson Reference about this and possible value with no real answer except an offer to purchase if I had set a price. When you really don't know how rare something is it's hard to set a price even if I did want to sell it. Thanks again TomComment

Oh yea, experienced negotiators always want you to bring the 1st number to the table. There were a couple versions of this dagger, one, (and the most desirable) being the original 55cm long version, many of these were factory cut down.Comment
