hi,i have just purchased this knife is it genuine or have i bought another sscrooge fake special, i gave £200 have i been ripped

can any one tell me is this knife an early model or late and is it a take down or not as you can see im not clued up on these,

I don't thnik there is a lot of difference between "early" and "late" on these, but I think most of them were made before or early in the war.

It is not a take-down model, they had a blued finish and a square button on them that allowed them to be taken apart easily for cleaning/repairs.
