    m7/37

    can any one post a picture of the m7/37 maker mark i know its refrenced in whitman's book, i dont have it and am looking at a few daggers with that maker mark and i know the maker mark is used in alot of reproductions these days. Thank you alot

    Yes, here you go. M7/37 is also M7/1051, both are Robert Klaas

      Have a look at this one - the dagger it belongs to by the way had a 50/50 reception when posted on german daggers forum.

                      Anthony... I would be very cautious with that dagger you're looking at purchasing...

                      - The motto etching is appauling

                      - The eagle is too far down the grip

                      - The RZM mark looks different to the one that Russell has shown on his dagger and I would say the one you're looking at is fake, (I could be wrong)

                      - Someone has taken it apart and not put it back correctly... the grip eagle is on the wrong side, not that it's a big deal, it could be corrected.

                      - You would want a closer photo of the eagle and SS rune and the tang markings.

                      - It has a very bad grip to lower crossguard fitting

                      - It could be the photos but the grip's shape doesn't look good to me

                      In my opinion, I would stay well clear of that dagger.
