Vet bringback German swords/knife

Hello!

I'm helping a friend get an idea of value on two swords that were brought back by a now deceased WWII veteran. I've had a hard time ID'ing them and I was hoping someone here could help me out. Here's what I think I've got (picture links at the end):

PAUL WEYERSBERG THIRD REICH ARMY OFFICERS DOVE HEAD SWORD AND SCABBARD
• Canvas and possibly bakelite grips
• Spine of the sword inscribed with “PAUL WEYERSBERG & Co SOLINGEN”
• Small section of hilt of sword has rust, rest of the sword in great shape
• Scabbard is heavily rusted

FOLDING GUARD "EAGLE" SWORD AND SCABBARD
• Sword inscribed with what looks like “2. Hannoo Drag: Reg. Nr.16 WATERLOO”
• Scabbard is heavily rusted
The eagle on the guard surrounding the handle appears to be Prussian, which would jive with the Waterloo engraving - maybe this unit, in it's history, took part in the defeat of Napolean. The guard also folds down around the handle and is in good, working condition.

LARGE GERMAN KNIFE
• Handle appears to be made from bone and has an Nazi "eagle" shape to it, but no bird features (eyes, mouth, etc.).
• Knife has printing on blade that is heavily worn – may be “Urlreit Adelt”
• Worn makers mark says knife was made by Carl Eickhorn Co. in Soligen, Germany
• Handle has one broken rivet

The overall heavy wear on the blade has made identification very hard. I have not found a similar knife at all to compare it to.

Am I close? Any idea of a value on them? Thanks in advance for your help!

IMO those two swords aren't worth a lot, maybe a few hundrets US$ for borh, if he is lucky to find a buyer. The swords are in a really bad shape

Sadly there is very little, if any, value left in these pieces.

The RAD was the closest thing to having any value, but if it doesn't have a scabbard, even it's not worth much.

Thanks so much for your help and your comments - it's helping me get an idea of what it is and its worth. Mr. Stevenson - thank you very much for that link. It gave me some good history.

If you folks had to put a USD value on them, what would it be? If you were selling them, what would be your sale price?

It looks like eBay might be the best bet on selling them for the lady. I really appreciate everyone's help and expertise.
