You should expect to pay in the neighborhood of $4,800.00 to $5,000.00 for a '36 SS in nice, collectible condition. The price could vary $500.00 or so for better or worse condition.
They are just about always available from Craig Gottlieb, Bill Shea, Gailen David,Tom Johnson, and Tom Wittmann.
That said, I prefere to make a purchase like that at one of the larger shows...you can usually do a little comparison shoipping and stand a good chance of landing one at a better price.
