Form what I can see in the pictures it appears to be okay but it looks like the blade has been buffed. What is the large mark on the on the bottom edge of the blade under the motto?

I am skeptical of this dagger. Based on what I see, I would pass. The pictures are not clear, but it looks like a parts dagger to me, look at the crossguard markings, the grip color, refinished scabbard and the runes look wrong.

If I have correctly understood a dagger could be collected from several daggers. So? Or parts of a dagger not original? And what are necessary to a photo what precisely to understand authenticity of a dagger? Thanks
