Very nice dagger and very cool display case. Did the case come with the dagger or did you build that?

Guys, Skipper makes (and sells) the cases.
At Rathau on the Aller, the CO of 5th Royal Tanks advanced on foot to take a cautious look into the town before his tanks moved in. He encountered one of his own officers, a huge Welshman named John Gwilliam who later captained his country's rugby team, 'carrying a small German soldier by the scruff of his neck, not unlike a cat with a mouse.' The Colonel said: 'Why not shoot him?' Gwilliam replied in his mighty Welsh voice: 'Oh no, sir. Much too small.'

No worries. Did you get that dagger recently?

I see you...I'm waving back, but you have the height advantage

Wow, what a nice model one. Can you PM me about purchasing one?

                    Congrats!

Yes please post the price on the display case, as I would be interested in knowing. Is it available to look at on line, and will it fit height wise for 1st Luft, 2nd Luft and Heer?

There's an old thread where Skipper posted some of his exotic creations, but he's vastly improved his creativity since then. It's actually about time he puts on a dagger fashion show again.

I guess I'll unashamedly give him a plug and say that he'll have a nice assortment of his wares on display at the SOS.

                          Hello to all

Thanks for the kind words, but the truth is - in this case (pun intended!) - Marc's dagger makes my display look good. Glad the case made the trip okay and that you got it so quickly

The notch is indeed for that day when - not if - you get a knot for that awesome dagger.

I have made displays for just about every dagger pattern and more than a few swords and other items. Lest we run the risk of a conflict of interest (Moderator advertising on his own Forum ), comments from others are welcome, but anyone interested in a display or wanting more informaiton from me can drop me a PM.

                          See you at the S-O-S!
