Does anyone have any of these marked bayonets in their collection? Looking to see different marks, different variations and foriegn makers. I'am going to post the three most common styles you'll come across, but I am looking for more info for my data base.
You will find them marked one of three ways Arial O, Arial N and Italic N. The may have one to five numbers after the letter. They might end with either a p, k, c and/or b. They are on re-issued WWI bayonets and 98k bayonets. The Kriegsmarine also marked rifles on the take-down disc and muzzle covers with these numbers. So please take a look at your collection and see if you have any.
