Land Customs Dagger - Paul Seilheimer

I aquired this about 3 months ago along with some other daggers. Although I am pleased with the dagger, the scabbard has me wondering if it is original, or a post war scabbard.

I know that most scabbards have the scribe lines only on one side, but the ones on this go all the way around. It is from a rare maker, (Paul Seilheimer), so maybe the Scabbard could be of a different variety.

I am postive that the dagger, (or at least all of it's components) are original and correct.
I did clean it with a terry cloth towel when I got it, since it had a fair amount of dirt and oxidation built up in the wings and oak leaves. I used no cleaning agents.

I have shown the dagger to several people, (some well known) and opinions varied on the scabbard, as well as the dagger.
    Looking foward to coments/opinions.

            Ok,
            Lets tear into this Scabbard.
I removed the Throat cover for these next two shots.
Inside the cover were 2 brass clips and inside the scabbard is 2 wooden stips to protect the blade. The scabbard appears to be made of brass, and the fittings of plated steel.

              another view.
Notice the #2 stamped in the side.
This is also on the outside of the top fitting which you will see in a later pic.
