undated bayonet and double serial # scabbord??

can anyone help me i have a Bayo i want to sell but want to make sure its not a rear one first
the bayo is nicely WaA'ed all over and on the blade stamedE.PACK&S and 9833 e but no date?? is this normal??
the scabbord is marked W.K.C 1938 N7087k one side and 9869k on the other?? how come the double serial number??
The bayo is nicely blued with bacerlite handles and the blade is unsharpend and the scabbord is looseing some blueing in places and some slight dents
can any one give me an idea what sort of price to ask for this??

Hello Adam, congratulation on a nice piece, Your bayonet probably missed a date stamp or was very weakly stamped. The production could be only 1937-40, could You send what for WaA are stamped on pommel, and what for eagle is there (downwings or straightwings?) It could be help by determining, the bard is a Kriegsmarine property marked piece ,N7087k is for Nordsea area, and was done later as serial number. best regards,Andy

Thanks Andy the waA is down winged and looks like 287 but my eyes are tired so cant see very well
Also i found a date 40? but its the back edge of the blade an od place to put it is that common?

Hello the waA should be straight wings 253, the date stamping on spine of blade near crossguard is typical for 1936-40 period, but any firms like ab or jwh used it in late war period. So Your E.Pack was done in 1940. best regards,Andy

IS hard ot say by a missmatched piece , the KM markng is plus, i would go about max 80-100 bucks depends on condition, but look to Ebay for comparing. best regards,Andy
