In my opinion it is fully original.
But why do you mean Red Army? Maybe my English is poor, and I haven't understand...

There is nothing wrong with the dagger. It appears to be a souvenir that belonged to and was modified by a soldier in the Red Army. The topic was posted twice with the other one discussing it more fully. Regards, FP

remember it being in 1936 scabbard.

I have to say, that is probably one of the most unique types of dolches I've seen. I also love the fact that the liberator made himself known by adding his own bit to the handle. The Soviets seemed to enjoy that sort of thing
