Portepee for Bayonet

I recently purchased a WW II officer's portepee which is "on the way." From the looks of the photos, it will take some work to "re-thread" the leather strap - the aluminum threading is in bad shape. Some is missing.

Questions:

1. - are all three rows of of "threading" silver for all branches?

2. - What is the proper color inside the acorn for a Stabszahlmeister (Heeresverwaltung)? Is it dark green?

3. - Is the leather strap brown or does the color of this also vary by branch?

Can anyone furnish me a photo of what the portepee should like like?
