            Hi,
I would like to see some better photos of the trademark,, but it looks like a correct period piece. Its not a Hunting (DJ) dagger but a Senior Forestry officers dagger. The grip plates look to be ivory and the scabbard fitting have been polished down to the base metal. Not the best but not that bad either.

I would say the value is between 625 to 900 Euro or 750 to 1100 US.

                Hi Anders,
Are you right, the trademark is etched and not stamped?

Ecthed trademarks on these hunting and forestry daggers is a sign that it was made after 1945.

                  Thanks for your help Eric,
The dagger was on an auction here in Sweden.
                  I did not buy it.........

                  Regards,

                  Anders.
