How rare is this maker??

Hi!

I just wonder how rare is maker "Herm. Konejung AG Solingen". I just have not seen so many SA daggers of this maker before.

It's not that rare. on a scale of 1 to 10, Ten being the most rare it's a six. Estimated production was 12000 pcs. Rare makers are production of 1000. I suggest before jumping into this piece you examine the crossguard to blade fits carefully. Fisher has these only issued in to gua areas He and Nrh. He is not always right and this one may well be fine. Just check that it's not a parts piece. Good luck with it!

Hi Hacht,
I think it is a fairly scarce maker. I don't remember seeing that trademark before. My understanding is that there were several makers in Germany that for some reason, perhaps the quality of their work or what ever, were not allowed to produce military daggers after the Party initiated tougher quality restrictions. I hope this answers your questions.
