At first glance, it appears that the swastika was either 1.) carefully sanded/polished away or 2.) that it was never applied to the pommel. On the aluminum daggers, the outline of the swaz was very lightly etched into the pommel and then the swaz was gilded. It would not take a great deal of effort to remove it.
