Looks fine to me. I like the patina on the hilt and scabbard fittings. The blade has been cleaned, but that is the case with most of these hewers. -- RAD hewers happen to be my favorite Third Reich edged weapon. I have several by different makers and one full-stag.

I agree: A very nice piece, though the choice of background appears to be irrelevant, and the 'busyness' of the Reichsmarine banner detracts from the subject matter.
