It's look like to be NSKK dagger, on that scabbard can see marks of black paint. In 1934 NSKK start to be independent formation of the party and they order to paint scabbards to black.

I like this rare #8 dagger, all is correct included Ho gruppe mark on lower crossguard. BUT what I do not like is someone highly polished that blade, so there is not any marks of the crossgrain. So maybe I would skip this one beacouse of that, but if the price is right then you can go for it.

EDIT: Look like scabbard is not NSKK after all, it is just some dirt?

Finngaill mentions that there is an "Ho gruppe mark on the lower crossguard"...but I don't see any SA Group Mark on this piece. (Maybe the result of having old eyes?!) But this is indeed a rare piece, rated at #9 on the McSARR list. And I do agree that it is unfortunate that the blade on this piece has been so highly-polished so as to remove the crossgrain marks.

I think I see the Ho gruppe mark just under the right corner of the grip.

"Ho" stamps are always on that unusual spot on the guard.
Why that was done and why only on the Hochland SA-daggers, is not known.

                  Best regards,

                    Good evening,

I got additional information about the size of the blade.

                    It measures 221 mm.
