Very nice looking early guard that makes me think it's a Pack product. Ger is your go-to guy who can give a better detailed explanation of that this is.

Hi Gary

this Pack type 3 has been used by various makers.
Whats more interesting is that it bears the toolmarks that we often see on Höller Typ 2 guards
The moon and neck grooves.

These toolmarks recently also shown up on Klaas daggers equiped with a silvered aluminium Pack type 2 guard.

So Gary most likely this will have a Höller blade.

The guard shown is a typical Holler type 2, its also as said used by Pack for their type 3, and you can find it in Aluminium on Pack and Puma's.
