A very nice artifact with a three-piece hanger strap. Bickel is rated at #4 on the McSARR chart. This piece was produced for an SA member from SA-Gruppe Mitte, which was also known as as SA-Gruppe Elbe, headquartered in Magdeburg. It appears that the blade has been heavily polished on both sides, which removed the accenting color from the motto. The scabbard appears to be in very nice condition, though the tip ball is typically dented. There also looks like three characters (letters or numbers?) die-struck onto the upper scabbard collar on the reverse side, near the throat. I can't make those characters out...?

All in all, a very nice piece.

Blade looks dull & maybe void of any origional crossgrain, better pix might rule this out ?

apart from that the dagger looks ok.
