I haven't seen this variation before and wondering if it a post-war piece, or something experiemental. Didn't know what else to call it - "scalloped" seems to be the right descriptor. All comments are welcome.

Same opinion, the workmanship is not quite up to factory standards versus a PW addition to a blade. FP
