    The thing that jumps out to me is the rectangular buckles seem to have a silvered finish whereas the other hardware shows a matte grey finish that I'm used to seeing on Luft hangers. Is there any apparently evidence of the buckles being swapped out? That would be my concern.

      As far as I can see there has not been any messing around with the hanger. One of the buckles looks as if it might have had an attempt to polish it but that's just conjecture on my part.

        Correct, low end set of 2nd Luft Hangers. Buckles have been cleaned in the past, probably due to corrosion.

            Looks like dried polish on the buckles, probably worth about £80 collector price .
