Luftwaffe dagger. Opinion on maker please

Good afternoon all.
Is it at all possible to identify the maker of this dagger? Also, somebody mentioned the pommel my be an army one instead?

No idea who the maker is but it looks like a good unmarked 2nd pattern Luftwaffe IMHO. Pommel is fine and I am not sure how anyone could think it was army as they are vastly different.

I'm sorry Steve, I used the wrong word. Portepee is what I meant. Army?

The knot is a 42cm type which is appropriate for an Army dagger. It should have the shorter 23cm knot with a shorter cord, to be completely correct.
